The fare at the ongoing KBC Festival at @doubletreeahmedabad KBC, short for Kebabs - Biryani - Curries, ferries around a lot of peripherals of Mughlai cuisine from Nizami, Lucknavi, Afghani, etc. The festival has a live counters for the Shami Kebab. The tikkas, rotis and Seekh Kebab can be seen being made through the looking glass of the open kitchen. The Soups, Curries, Biryanis and the accompaniments are served as a buffet. There's also a quirky truck-like setup for the beverages near the musicians, who create some interesting jugalbandi between the Sitar and Tabla. The menu is going to be rotational and hence it will be cruel to lure you by labelling all that we were served. Look at the pictures and know that edit had no role to play in making them appear drool-some. The food came with its own meritorious appeal. The highlights in the menu during our time were: Mutton durust shorba, Subz shikampuri Kebab, Lahori Tandoori Murgh, Ajwaini Mahi Tikka, Afghani Murgh ki Seekh, Lakhnavi Shammi Kebab, Anjeer Makhmali Kofta Curry, Patiyala Shahi Chicken Curry, Meen Moilee, Subz dum Biryani, Lakhnavi Gosht Biryani. There are equal options for both vegetarians and non.vegetarians, both made with the same zeal, and that's a plus.
