Toom Yum
Upon @peacheskamath 's recommendation of Matcha Iced Tea from a "Legit Thai Food" (Her words) we had to try it! We were elated with the indisputably delicious and original Thai Food!
Pluses: - Brilliant, Brilliant, tasting food! It is an orgasmic experience for the palate from the flavours packed in all their meal preparations
- It is the Best Matcha Iced Tea, ever. Delicate and full-bodied.
It comes in a DIY pack - One holds the warm Matcha, other holds the milk, and the third pack holds the ice. You put things together and then enjoy an unforgettable mouthfeel! - The Shrimp was amazing
- The Pad thai came with the accompaniment of sugar, chilli, crushed peanuts, lemon - Just like how it's supposed to
Minuses: - Poor, unappetising packaging. It came packed in plastic bags, tied with a string, much like how your Chai comes from the Tapris. Potli-Like. Just that the plastic bag was a better quality.
- Unforgivably Hot food. Even the ones amongst us who had enviable spice tolerance were left seeking the extinguisher to douse the fire their palates were on. This also interfered in the potential 360 degree flavour experience
- Sticky Rice was BAD. Bad. Period. - The order execution was poor. In the first order they forgot the Matcha Tea, and in the second order they forgot it's milk
- Consistency. The first lot of Pad Thai Noodles came with flat noodles and the second lot came with Glass Noodles
- We wish, the quantity justified the pricing
Despite the weightage of disappointments being higher, we highly recommend this place. Because the food is just that good!
I'm willing to overlook all things else, if they serve this spectacular flavours every time. Albeit, i will be asking them to hold the chillies the next time, for sure.
Tried and LOVED the following:
Matcha Iced Tea
Pad Thai Prawns
Dry Curry with Thai Herb Chicken
Savoury Curry with Chicken
If you haven't already, please give this a shot!
