This weather gives us the food blues I just caught myself fantasising about the pineapple rasam i had sometime ago at South 54 It was my first encounter with Pineapple rasam and i immediately took a liking to it By the time we reached the bottom of the bowl Rohan I found ourselves debating as to how the other should profess their love by allowing them to be the last to lap up the rasam The tartness from the pineapple amplifies the already sour yet delicious Indian soup During that very meal we had also discovered that they serve the BEST APPAM that there was in Ahmedabad The appam is made with coconut milk and carries a mild sweetness which feels complimenting when you dunk it in the rich flavourful vegetable stew The outer circumference is thinner hence crispy and caramelised As you travel inwards the fluffiness from the appam s center blows your mind to pieces How are you dealing with your gloom
