We spotted Savoiardi at @magsongourmetfoods and knew it in our bones that we were finally doing the big reveal of the Classic Tiramisu recipe! Went ahead and picked up Starbucks's espresso+cream ready to drink can, but one can always order an espresso and let it cool before dipping the lady fingers in it. Mascarpone was staring at us in humour because it thought we may leave the store without it, so happy were we to spot ready to use lady fingers 🤣 The entire recipe and it's method is in the Reels. A Swiss roll or a sweet Roulade is traditionally a part of European Cuisine, French in particular. It's a sponge cake rolled with whipping cream w/wo jam, or icing. I have always been drawn to this concept. They are aesthetic, the cream and pastry ratio is to my liking, and I have variety of options as to how I can eat it. Do I want to eat it in a dignified manner with a fork or do I want to unroll, it like a 5yo, and eat it outside in... One never knows! 🤣 The featured Swiss roll is from @7violettes special edition, a few weeks ago. Saw an update on their IG and immediately placed an order. Fortunately, both @rohanbhatt and I are great fans of a good swiss roll. Ordered for two, had both. It was decadent.
