So the beloved Sante from Koregaon Park Pune has finally opened in Ahmedabad The one here has done a good job at letting their ambience represent the nature of the food they serve Their menu boasts of vegan and healthy alternatives to your regular food without compromising on its taste and experience The menu design allows people with preferences a direction to look BEETROOT SPINACH HUMMUS 290 Beautifully piped and well pigmented naturally so both the hummus es arrived on the table served along side multigrain khakhra chips CRUNCHY MUSHROOM DIMSUMS 330 Four dimsums actual dimsums and not maida role playing as rice flour filled with white fungus mushroom shitake mushroom chestnuts carrots and served with soy and chilli dipping sauces IBIZA STYLE AVOCADO SALAD 420 Lovely Salad Quite wholesome Could make for a meal for one if you are a salad snob like me As per the menu it consists of mixed greens lime juice lime leaf chilly cilantro stems green onions red cherry tomatoes and bell peppers old fashioned oats and ofcourse avocado PIZZA CAPRI 420 A stone grilled ragi base pizza We chose this over other veggie loaded ones because the true test lies in its simplicity Olives bocconcini cherry tomatoes and basil SALTED CARAMEL MUD CAKE 180 A good cake Little crumbly and dry pan chaale Could ve used a slightly generous drizzle of the caramel RASMALAI WATERMELON SANDWICH 210 We could not take fancy to this absurd combination of the two things put together Somehow no one on the table was able to develop a taste for this one You were warned GREEN MOONG AND TOFU DOSA 240 I should ve taken their Dosa in quotes a little seriously because in retrospect they were honest by taking a dig at their own version of Dosa These baby chillas were quite disappointing to be honest Lumpy and bland Two least favourite characteristics when it comes to food The portion size is a few servings shy of being value for money

Four dimsums (actual dimsums! and not maida role-playing as rice flour) filled with white fungus mushroom, shitake mushroom, chestnuts, carrots and served with soy and chilli dipping sauces.

I should've taken their Dosa in quotes a little seriously because in retrospect they were honest by taking a dig at their own version of 'Dosa'. These baby-chillas were quite disappointing to be honest. Lumpy and bland. Two least favourite characteristics when it comes to food.
