No Gujarati household is alien to the concept of Raab More so a household which is hosting a new mother While our Little One continues to be the center of my attention since her birth few of my attention units are assigned to all the food I m made to eat to ensure a good recovery So I m just going to document it here for anyone to take benefit Raab Is essentially a soup made from wheat flour and spices It has become my elixir and I start my day with this after suva nu paani Haven t consumed tea or coffee since over nine months now and while I DO miss it I don t MISS it To make the basic Raab you need to roast Gundar Edible Gum in ghee until it doubles in size and set it aside In the same ghee roast a spoonful of Wheat Flour add Sunth Ganthoda water Jaggery and let it boil Add roasted Gundar grated Kopru slivered almonds And consume this hot For postpartum recovery flax seeds ajmo and suva seeds are also added while roasting Much fun to drink such benefit in doing so P S This reminds me to arrange the Katlu Powder to be picked up from LVG Hope they keep it More on that later
