Most days rohanbhatt and I are as clueless as every other person when it comes to what s for dinner But every now and then there are cravings so vivid and so specific that there is extreme clarity of what we want how we want it And to many this effort to make that happen may appear ridiculous but to us it is simply working towards the ultimate satisfaction from food In order to achieve that we may combine complimenting contrasting textures flavours cuisines and even order from two different restaurants to make one whole meal Recently we craved for the Desi Chicken For those who are unaware of this preparation imagine a garlic heavy brown curry base which has been reduced from watery consistency to a consistency which is somewhere between a tarri and a rich mughlai gravy simply by cooking the entire chicken in it Yep That Instead of the usual naan we decided to have this with Appams De bone the chicken into smaller shreds for best results and uninterrupted thulping Take a bit of appam let it drown and soak in the chicken curry and eat It s a marriage of the ultimate flavours textures A fabulous meal courtesy Desi Chicken from Rajpath and Appams from Papadum Sorted
