Mahudi wali Sukhdi
This Sukhdi has been replicated to the precise measure and method followed to make the prasad at a very popular Jain Pilgrimage; Mahudi. Ofcourse, this is 1/60th the scale to their original batch size. 😆
This method is very different than how we now make Sukhdi/Gol Papdi at home. Which is where, you roast the flour in the ghee first for about 10-12mins, on a low flame, and then add the grated jaggery while the pan is off the flame.
This particular variant is my way of paying homage to the anchored nostalgia towards this Indian Sweet.
Recipe in the Highlights.
