Italian Grill with Original Swiss Raclette Cheese Visited The Epic Kitchen last evening to fulfil the curiosity around the Raclette Cheese Grill After seeking the manager s suggestion we decided to go all or nothing and paid an extra 250 for Original Swiss Raclette Cheese over an Italian Grill The dish came to the table with a humble looking huge slice of bread topped with grilled tomatoes capsicum olives basil tossed with oregano and chilli flakes The bowl of harissa mayonnaise served along with was an unnecessary accompaniment The cheese was served warm on the raclette grill and there was a mild drama of laying the blanket on the bread inducing a lot of salivation The first bite was fulfilling with the nutty flavoured pungent cheese The toppings did not matter the cheese was great But the novelty of this whole thing lasted for the first two bites eventually the fun withered and it became burdensome to finish the dish Not sure if it was because we do not belong to the herd of people who could sniff cheese off everything or just that the fascination of this dish is indeed short lived The open kitchen spacious ambience and an interesting menu will definitely act as a pull factor for a next visit Until then feast your eyes on this boomerang Cheers Happy Eatin

Italian Grill with Original Swiss Raclette Cheese

Visited The Epic Kitchen last evening to fulfil the curiosity around the Raclette Cheese Grill. After seeking the manager’s suggestion, we decided to go ‘all or nothing’ and paid an extra ₹250 for Original Swiss Raclette Cheese over an Italian Grill.
The dish came to the table with a humble looking huge slice of bread topped with grilled tomatoes, capsicum, olives, basil, tossed with oregano and chilli flakes. The bowl of harissa mayonnaise served along with was an unnecessary accompaniment.
The cheese was served warm on the raclette grill and there was a mild drama of laying the blanket on the bread inducing a lot of salivation. The first bite was fulfilling with the nutty flavoured pungent cheese. The toppings did not matter, the cheese was great. But the novelty of this whole thing lasted for the first two bites; eventually, the fun withered and it became burdensome to finish the dish. Not sure if it was because we do not belong to the herd of people who could sniff cheese off everything or just that the fascination of this dish is indeed short-lived.
The open kitchen, spacious ambience and an interesting menu will definitely act as a pull factor for a next visit.
Until then, feast your eyes on this boomerang! 😈
