
I have already, in the past, raised an alarm for the dearth of places serving 'Shahi Tukda' in Ahmedabad.
Recently tried the one at Masala Canteen.
Yays!
- It is served in a shallow pond of rabdi instead of being drizzled with miserly amount of milkmaid
- The bread was fried to perfection - The bread was further perfected to attain the right amount of crunch, upon bite, by soaking in the syrup for what must've been an optimum time
- The sweetness of the rabdi was calibrated to ensure that the dessert in its entirety doesn't get diabetical in taste
Nays.
- The rabdi could surely use a little more flavour and fragrance of cardamom & saffron
- The consistency of the rabdi could be slightly thickened so that it feels justified to call it that
A good find.
